I received a w-2 for work I did as a teacher, but I also received a 1099-MISC for the same work. Do I put in the w-2 or the 1099-MISC?

I received both documents, which one do I put into my taxes? If I put in both, won't the computer think I made an additional amount of money?

You should not have received both forms for the same work. It is highly recommendable that you contact the Accounting Department for this institution to clarify this issue. It is quite possible that this is an error on their part. Additionally, it is advisable that you not attempt to file your return until you have received a response.
