Question

I received two w-2's from my employer, one is only for part of the year and the other is for all year. Do I have to file any special paperwork to void one of the w-2's?

Is one a W-2C (corrected) to replace the original?

Ask your employer why they issued two.  The IRS receives a copy form your employer and expects to see it on your tax return.  If one of them is wrong then it is the employer that needs to issue a corrected W-2.
