Question

I refinanced my home in 2018 and reported that on my taxes. Do I still have to answer the refi questions again this year?

When entering a Form 1098 for mortgage interest, you will need to indicate whether or not the debt was refinanced in 2019. This is asked every year because some taxpayers refinance often.
