Question

I sent both federal and state to federal address but my signature was at the end on the state return. Is that ok?

If you mailed your tax returns, then there is nothing you can do to retrieve it and sign the Federal return.  Your signature on the state form will not be accepted as a signature on your Federal form because they are two separate returns.

Your best option would be to mail another signed copy of the Federal return (including copies of your W-2s).

You also need to mail your state return to your state department of revenue for processing.  It should not have been mailed with the Federal return and will not be processed by the IRS. The mailing address for your state return is typically shown on the form near the area where you sign the return.
