Question

I supported a non related minor child that lived with me the whole year. She did make over $4700. Can I really not claim her as a dependent?

Though she made over $10k she is a minor and paid nothing for anything.

True. Her income precludes you from claiming her as a dependent.

No.  You cannot claim her unless she was a foster child as a dependent since she made over $4,700 which disqualifies her as a qualifying relative.
