Question

I thought TurboTax finished my states and they were never filed. What do I do now?

it looks like my state taxes were never finished and I believed they were. I was under the impression they were at least filing with TurboTax. Where do I go from here?

You can go back to the return and efile your state returns.  To do this:

 

  1.  Open your return
  2. On the Your 2024 federal return was accepted! page, open Your tax returns & documents, and then select 2024
  3. Select Continue your return in the state tax return box
  4. Select State from the menu
  5. On the Let's get your state taxes done right screen, select Continue and follow the instructions
