If you have an entry in box 12 on your W-2 form reporting the contributions to your 403(b) plan, the overpayment may be reflected in your W-2 entry and if so will appear on your form 1040 line 1 as wage income. If not, then you can enter the overpayment in TurboTax as follows:

Go to the Wages and Income section of TurboTax

 - Choose  Less Common Income

 - Choose Miscellaneous Income, 1099-A, 1099-C

 - Choose Other reportable income and enter a description and amount for the additional income
