I updated my current email and verified it on the website.When I went to sign my return the code keeps being sent to the old email....

Did you change your email address in your Intuit Account on the lower left hand side of your screen?  If so, you may want to double check, sometimes there are hiccups in software programs.  If not, go to your Intuit Account, scroll down and select Edit next to your email address.
