I use the standard deduction, and the only 2 other things are a 1099-R and a 1099-T. Do I need to use the deluxe version or can I use the free one? Thanks.

You would need to use a paid version since you have a form 1098-T and Form 1099-R. You can start in TurboTax Basic and you will be prompted to upgrade to Deluxe if necessary.
