I used the file by mail option, but I need to make a change before mailing turbotax won't let me go back?

I need to go back and edit the incorrect information before mailing my return. How do I accomplish this?

TurboTax Free Edition Online

You can make changes to your tax return in TurboTax as long as you have not filed(e-filed or mailed) your taxes.

If you don't see Tax Tools, scroll to the bottom of the Home page, click Add a State(you're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right menu) and then over to the left you should see Tax Tools. From there you should be able to navigate between different sections to make changes. To makes changes or to add a W2, just visit the Federal section. To make changes to your birthdate, name, SSN, address, etc..., just visit the My info section. To make changes to your State tax return, just visit the State section. To make changes to your refund method, visit the File tab on Step 2.

If I already filed it in TurboTax using mailed way, and I have not mailed it. Is it possible to make change in TurboTax?

If you have not yet mailed the return, then yes, you can make changes to the return without going through the amending process.

In order to get back into your return to make changes, you will need to indicate that you are trying to Add a State. This will open up the return again so that you can edit it.
