I used the non filet tool for stimulus, 2019 return now says ss# already used and returns rejected

The non filer tool was only to be used by persons not filing a tax return. When you used it, a return was efiled for you with 0 income. Now you must print and mail a return to get it accepted.

Normally in the situation you would be required to prepare, print and mail and amended return form 1040X. We believe you can just prepare your "real" form 1040 and write "Amended Return" across the top and mail it without the need to prepare the 1040X. Use the filing instructions for what to include and where to send it.
