I used turbo tax for partnership in 2015 on a different computer. I have copied files to flash drive. How do I open that file and start my 2016 return

Ok, let's slow down. Did you install the 2016 Business return on your new computer?
To transfer into 2016 you need the file ending in .tax2015. You need to copy that file from the old computer or from the flash drive. copy all the files from the flash drive to the new computer. Be aware that both the Business returns and Personal return files both end in the same .tax2015. You should copy them to a Turbo Tax folder under your Documents.
Then start a new 2016 return in Turbo Tax Business and it should find all the .tax2015 business file on your computer to transfer. Or you can browse to where you saved them.
