I used turbo tax to file my '19 returns. I just updated the software and want to file 2020 returns. Software shows as if I'm filling 2019. How do I file under 2020 forms?

TurboTax Online

You will need to use the correct tax year of TurboTax for each tax return filed. You cannot file your 2019 tax return online. It would have needed to be done using the software from the prior year.

You can use the online software to prepare your 2020 income tax return. However, if you filed your 2019 tax return using the online version, you will need to amend your return to ensure it only reflects the activity for 2020.
