I used TurboTax desktop to file my business taxes. How can I get proof of filing for 2024 and 2023?

The confirmation email from TurboTax at the time of the filing does not list the business name. A screen shot from withing TurboTax does not list the business name. I am required to provide proof that the business filed a tax return.

What kind of business return did you file? A 1120 or a 1065 partnership return? If you filed a Schedule C for it as part of your personal 1040 return you need to show your personal 1040 return.

Or did you use the Turbo Tax Business program? For the Desktop program you have to check the filing status inside the program. Open your return and go up to menu item

File > Electronic Filing > Check Electronic Filing Status
