The quarterly estimated payments are found on the vouchers (Form 1040-ES) that are included with your 2020 tax return. Each 1040-ES will have an amount and date. Please expect your payments to be deducted from your bank account on or around that date. Exact dates may differ due to bank processing times.

I printed my return but there is no form 1040-ES. How do I get it?

Yes, to get the copy of the vouchers, you need to print the 1040 income tax return including the worksheet (only select 1040 ES vouchers form).

The Form 1040-ES is used to figure and pay estimated taxes. It is divided into 4 quarter payments. First voucher is due 4/15, second voucher is due 6/15, third on 9/15, and last voucher is not due until 1/15 of the following year. If you are receiving unemployment, self-employment income, social security benefits, and other income not subject to withholding taxes, estimated payment is another way of paying your income tax that is not due until the following year.
