Question

I've been over my self-employment income and expenses and reviewed multiple times, but it still says "Needs review" how do I satisfy to make it not say "needs review"?

The same thing is happening for my unemployment. I have reviewed and reviewed. I don't know what needs to be fixed.

Where is it telling you it Needs Review?   In the menu list under Income and Expenses or when you run a "Review" of the return.  If you have not completed a "Review" of your federal taxes.   In the Federal section across the top of the screen, one of the selections is Federal Review.  Click on the Federal Review after the review is completed what is the screen showing.   Does it say that you have details to review?   If so,  click Continue, and then it will show you what needs to be reviewed.    When you review, I have found that sometimes, you need to click through each of the screens and answer any questions that the answer did not hold.   Once you click through each of these, does it still say it still needs to be reviewed?

If you go through the reviews and it still says "Needs Review" then for the unemployment delete the 1099-G that was entered and re-enter the 1099-G.

My suggestion would also be to delete and re-enter the self-employment information and start over.     Sometimes this is the only way to get rid of whatever is hanging up the return from being cleared of the error.
