I've been separated from my husband since September 2023, how should I file?

    Your marital status as of 12/31/24 determines your filing status.  Since you are still married, you can file as Married Filing Separately, Married Filing Jointly , or Head of Housing (if you're eligible). Refer to the eligibility requirements explained in the TurboTax Help article Can a married person claim Head of Household filing status?
