I’ve filed my taxes already and being charged $50 is it possible to change my fee to free ?

If you already filed it's too late to change anything. What are you being charged 50 for? Deluxe is 40 for federal and 40 for state = $80.

The same thing just happened to me. I don't appreciate how eager Turbo Tax is to sneak on extra costs. I wanted to pay $120 and no more than that, before 2018 I always filed with them for free. I don't like this at all and I feel you pain. Especially, because they won't let me complain directly to customer support. Here I am commenting on your query because there is no straight shot way to protest this unnecessary fee. I was very careful to not select ANYTHING above my $120 cost, and they definitely didn't warn me or even explain what this extra $50 would gain me. I am extremely low income and am currently out of work due to covid19. Turbo Tax, stop being manipulative and greedy and please refund both of our mysterious $50 fees.

Did you complete a state tax return? If so, that is an additional $50. As was shown on the Review of your Order in the File Section of the program in Step 1, before you were asked to pay the TurboTax account fees.
