I want to choose Turbo Tax Free Edition, but cannot as that link is not live. I do not need the extras on the PLUS edition

I have 1 1099 for social security and 1 1099 Int

Your post shows you are using the Free online edition.

 

If the interest income and your Social Security are the only income you have to report on your tax return you probably do not need to file a tax return, unless your interest income is extremely large.

 

If your total other income plus one-half of your SS benefits are less than the amount shown for your filing status you do not need to file.

 

Up to 85% of Social Security Retirement/Disability/Survivors benefits becomes taxable when all your other income plus 1/2 your social security reaches:

Married Filing Jointly - $32,000
Single or Head of Household - $25,000
Married Filing Separately - 0
