I want to delete my account as I did not use it for the intended purpose and I do not plan to use it in the future.

If you haven't paid or registered, you can use "Clear and start over" to erase a return.   After clearing, just don't start over.   To deactivate the account, however, you'd need to phone TurboTax Support.
