I want to see the IRS Forms as I'm inputting data, as I'm used to using the CD version. My situation: I'm online because TurboTax doesn't sell CD-version. What to do?

There are two versions, online and desktop (download). Desk top is the same as CD.

To switch from on-line to desktop:
Even before you pay for the online version you can switch to the desktop version and you won't have to re-enter your information. To continue in the desktop version see this

Only a minor hiccup with opening download of Desktop version: I needed a "work-around"

Microsoft flagged TurboTax as "unverified" & didn't have app in Microsoft Store.

So happy & relieved that I can access all tax forms!

Unrelatedly, none of my previous years of tax data appear under Tax History.

The desktop editions are all available as a download to be installed on your personal computer.

Go to this TurboTax website to purchase and download one of the TurboTax 2024 desktop editions - https://turbotax.intuit.com/personal-taxes/cd-download/

If you think you need the CD then it is available for purchase. But you must have the license code from the download before you can purchase the CD. The purchase price is $10.
