I want to upload 100% of all tax form data from vanguard

turbotax is not picking up all of my vanguard account activity including sales

Occasionally, the data in the downloaded files from the brokerage firms omits some items required for the tax return, or has them in a format that doesn't translate perfectly into what is required.  

 

The only way to handle this is to enter the data manually that does not import - there is no way to adjust the data that comes across to the program from the brokerage firm.  

 

For taxpayers with a large number of sales it may be advantageous to enter only the summary numbers.  For covered transactions, this requires no additional steps.  For uncovered transactions, the taxpayer must follow up by mailing Form 8453 with a copy of the 1099-B after the tax return is electronically filed.

Thank you for the response. 

My volume of transactions is low.  I would think with an account like Vanguard, I would easily be able to upload 100% of what's required for my taxes.
