It is possible that your refund is not enough to pay the TurboTax fees once you add the "refund processing fee"of $39.99 ($44.99 in CA) to your fees. If your refund is not enough you cannot choose the option to pay from the federal refund. Your federal refund is on line 20 of your Form 1040.

Click on Tax Tools on the left side of the screen. Click on Tools. Click on View Tax Summary. Click on Preview my 1040 on the left side of the screen.
