Question

I was assigned a tax advocate due to my husbands SSN being reported wrong. Now, I cannot get the lady to call me back. Is there anything else I can do?

I don't know what you would need to go to a tax advocate for a incorrect SSN unless it is an ongoing problem.  Who reported the wrong SSN?  Was in on a W-2.   Does the employer refuse to change it?

 

There must be more to this than meets the eye so it is hard to advise on such sketchy information .
