I think you mean you filed a joint return for 2018, since a spouse can never be claimed as a dependent. Have you filed a return for 2019 yourself? Since you were divorced before the end of 2019, your 2019 return would be filed as Single -- or Head of Household if you are the custodial parent of the children.
