Question

I was laid off and they said I could do my taxes for free using this platform but they didn't give me a service code. Where do I look?

Who is "they" that promised you a service code?

SERVICE CODE

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/charges-and-fees/help/what-is-a-service-code/00/25646

Or—-Use this IRS site for other ways to file for free.  There are 8  free software versions available from the IRS Free File site

https://apps.irs.gov/app/freeFile/

Or—if you live in certain states you may be eligible to use the new IRS Direct File

( AZ, CA, FL, MA, NH, NV, NY, SD, TN, TX, WA, WY )

https://directfile.irs.gov/

How can I see my TurboTax  fees?

Sorry---only customer support can give you a service code and only for certain reasons---not just because you want a discount.   Try one of the other free softwares.   You will not be able to use the Free Edition on TT if you have unemployment income.
