Your short term disability payments were reported on your W-2 in Box 1 Wages, Tips and other Compensation. You do not have to do anything different when you file your tax returns due to your disability payments.

My employer added the short term disability payment to my W2. I also received a separate W2 from the insurance company with the short term payment. Do I have report the W2 from the insurance company on TurboTax? I don't want to be taxed twice.
