Question

I was self employed in 2023 and made a few hundred dollars. I had a baby and have not made any money in 2024. how do I update this information?

I have entered that I made $0 but the software wants me to upgrade to the $79 version of the program and make more updates. There is nothing to update. I'd rather not pay $80 bucks to tell them that. What do I do?

If you had no income in 2024 you do not have to file a tax return unless you have a 1095A for marketplace health insurance.
