Checking on unemployment benefits

The IRS has issued information about this for people who have already filed and had unemployment income. With $10,200 no longer included as taxable income, you will probably have a refund coming. You do not need to do anything and the IRS will be sending payments for the difference in taxes due that will begin to be sent out in May.
