Question

I was unemployed in 2019 and early 2020 so I couldn’t file. Why is turbo tax holding that against me?

Please explain.   Why do you think being unemployed is being held against you/   If you mean you do not have a 2020 AGI then use zero to e-file 2021.

Yeah I don’t have any 2021 w-2’s from last year so turbo tax is not letting me file. Anyway I can let them file for me this year?

@Vandynick It is not clear what you are trying to do.   If you did not have any income what are you trying to put on an income tax return?  Why are you trying to file?   Were you supported by someone else who claimed you as a dependent?
