People who don't file tax returns and don't get payments from social security or the veterans administration, should register on the non filer portal to get the stimulus payment: https://www.irs.gov/coronavirus/non-filers-enter-payment-info-here

If you have children under the age of 17, you should register on the portal by 4/5/20 even if you get payments from social security or the veterans administration to enable you to get the $500 stimulus payment for each child.
