I was wrongfully claimed as a dependent and I made more than $3,000 last year.
Last year, I moved back to my home state and lived with my father from June-December. When my father did his taxes, he claimed me as a dependent, which I don't think he can do. I was 25 years old during 2019 and I made more than $3,000 from earned income. He said that he claimed me as someone that was living with him, which has in turn turned me into a dependent on his tax return. He has already received his tax refund. I keep getting rejected when I try to file my tax return.
How can I file my tax return, when he has filed me as a dependent?
