I wasnt self-employed last year but it's showing my Turbotax as that, how do I change it to a lower edition?

If you haven't started your return yet, you can select a different version on the first page. If you have already passed that you can return to the Free Edition and then review you return again. 

1. Click on Tax Tools near the bottom of the left side menu.
2. All the way at the bottom, select Return to Free.
3. The next screen explains the program will keep most of your information, but you may need to re-enter some of it. 
4. Once you confirm that is what you want to do, you will be taken back to the beginning of the return and you will need to review and possibly re-enter some of your information.
