Question

I will be leaving the US at the end of Dec. 2021 and I am a resident alien. I will be a US tax resident up until the end of the year. Do i need to do anything for FY22?

I have read about the form 1040-C but if i am doing a full 2021 return does that matter? I will not be a US tax resident at all for 2022 so I imagine it is just a clean break since i will no longer have anymore US income beginning January 1, 2022. Do i need to notify the IRS that i have left or anything?
