I won a cash prize from PCH of 20k, do I need to claim as income?

Yes, absolutely, you must list it as income.

 

PCH should send you a 1099-MISC listing the $20k (congrats, by the way), along with any federal tax that was withheld. Call PCH if you don't get the 1099-MISC by mid-February.
