I work full time, spouse had SSDI and Medicaid. Spouse went to nursing home 3/18/24. He passed away 7/20/24. How do I file my taxes this year. We always filed jointly.

Since your spouse passed away in 2024 you can file your 2024 tax return as Married Filing Jointly.
In the TurboTax program, when entering personal information for your spouse, there is a screen that asks if the person passed away. Check the box and then enter the date of passing.
