I would like to delete my TurboTax account because I used a different software to complete my taxes.

Unfortunately, you wouldn't be able to delete your account. Once you've paid or registered, we're required to store copies of your return. These are the same requirements imposed on accountants, CPAs, and other professional tax preparers.

As long as you have not paid any fees you can clear any data entered using our Clear & Start Over feature. To clear your data in TurboTax Online, Go to My Account at the top of the page, then go to Clear & Start Over.
