I would like to know when I download Turbo Tax software can I do more than one tax return not just for me but also one for my son?

I am not getting a correct answer to my question from anyone. If is either a yes or not question.

Yes the Desktop installed program can do unlimited returns and efile 5 federal for free. Then each state return is $20 (25 March 1) to efile. Or you can print and mail state for free. Did you get the program installed and activated with the 16 digit license code ok? I see a lot of people who bought the Desktop program but somehow ended up in the Online version. You might need to switch to your program. We can tell you how.

No I have not downloaded any software yet, I wanted an answer to my question and you were able to reply. Thank you. Now I will be able to pick the software that I need.

And all the Desktop programs have the same forms so you can buy a lower version like Deluxe. You just get more help in the higher versions.

You can prepare and e-file up-to 5 for yourself and family members.

You can prepare more than that, as long as you print and mail-file the extras.
