If I am not claiming my child this year do I put their info on my taxes? I feel my refund is incorrect because I put his info on there.

Unless you are claiming him as a dependent, his information does not need to be on the return. It will definitely affect the total of your refund but when dealing with the IRS you want to be as accurate as possible to avoid penalties, hold ups, and audits!

Note: You cannot make changes after you submit your return for efiling unless it is rejected by the IRS.
