If I do and file my tax on the desktop version on TurboTax, can I see my tax data online (under my account)?

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

Why it is asking me to create an account if it is a desktop version? I hope this desktop version for tax year 2024 is not going to store my taxes online except on my desktop even it asks me to create an account? Can you please confirm it all above?

For tax year 2024 you have to create a TurboTax account for the license code.  Your tax return is NOT stored online when you are using the desktop editions installed on your personal computer.  The only copy of your tax return is on the computer where it was created by the TurboTax software.

See this TurboTax support FAQ for the license code when installing the TurboTax desktop software - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/license-information/install-turbotax-cd-download-software-license-code/L1wFOSXur_US_en_US?uid=m7jdk3u4
