If i dont know my wifes social security we are separated for 18 year should i file single?

Unfortunately, you cannot file single unless you are legally separated by the court.  It doesn’t matter if you and your spouse have been living separately—you’re still married according to the tax code unless a court order states that you're divorced or legally separated.  So you must file married filing separately or head of household if you qualify.
