If I download the 2018 turbo tax cd and do my taxes on it, can I efile the prior year return or must I print it out and mail it?

All prior year returns must be printed and mailed. Only the current year (2019) returns may be electronically filed.

Don't forget to attach your W-2s and to sign the return before you mail it.
