Well e-filing can you still receive your state if it's been rejected

No, you will need to correct your Federal return and either continue to e-file or mail your Federal return

States will not process your return without the Federal return being processed.  They utilize the information on the Federal return. 

If you do end up mailing your Federal return, you will also need to mail your state return.
