Question

If I filed jointly and IL is asking for my husbands and then my 2018 Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) I put our total combined amount from last year's return for him and me?

e-filing is now closed for 2019. so your AGI is irrelevant unless you are resubmitting for a rejected return. the AGI is the same for both of you  - what is shown on the 2018 Illinois return line 1 or the federal return line 7 - they should agree.    if e-filing is still rejected you'll have to mail in the returns.

Yes.  On a Joint return there is only 1 AGI.  You use the same AGI for each of you.  It should have asked you the same thing for federal.
