Question

If I filed on April 7th, would they use my 2019 return or was this to late and they used my 2018 return for stimulus?

The IRS guidance states the 2019 tax returns that are filed will be used to determine any stimulus payment.

 

We are still waiting for IRS guidance regarding updating or providing direct deposit information for the stimulus payments and how they will be distributed to these type of accounts. The payments have not yet been issued.

 

We will have more information once the government finalizes the details.
