If i had insurance through work, do i put anything down on the "how much did you spend on insurance premiums?"?

to the extent your employer paid all or part of the premiums, there is no deduction. To the extent you paid the premiums, they would not be deductible to the extent wages in box 1 were reduced. . only premiums you paid out of pocket that did not reduce your taxable wages would be deductible. Most likely your wages were reduced. If you are not sure check with your employer.
