If I had my child 183 days last year do I qualify for head of household?

Yes, if you 

  • Were unmarried as of December 31, 2022 and
  • Paid more than half the cost to run your (or a qualifying parent's) home this year (rent, mortgage, utilities, etc.) and
  • Supported a qualifying person (your child)

then you can qualify for head of household. Your child must have lived with you for more than half a year (half a year would be 182.5 days). You meet this requirement.
