Question

If I included my daughter in my tax information does it automatically put her down as a dependent or can her mother still file with her as a dependent.

You can have information about a child in the program without claiming that child as a dependent. The program lets you know if the child is your dependent and will claim her unless you tell it not to. 

Click on "My Info" on the left sidebar to see if she is listed as a dependent or look at your 1040. 

If you are not claiming her, you can delete her information.
