If I opted to make electronic payment to the IRS and state,will I get notifications indicating payment is complete?

    Not usually, unless you chose to have an email confirmation using the IRS direct pay or you get a notification from your credit card company.  It is always a good idea to check your bank statements for when the payment comes out.
