If I file 2016 taxes now (late, I know) will I receive a new AGI? If so, when? The correct AGI needs to be placed on my 2017 taxes in order to receive the Earned Income Credit.

You do not need the 2016 number if you did not live in or were affected by a casualty disaster in 2017.  In other words, if you do not meet all 3 conditions on the screen, say No.

If you do meet all 3 and need your 2016 AGI, you will have that as soon as you prepare your 2016 return.  Om the 1040, that would be line 37.
